Born and raised in Berlin, Germany, Kerstin Herrmann-Olczak writes poetry and prose in German and English. Her work explores everyday encounters, cultural contrasts, personal reflection, and the experiences that shape how we see ourselves and others. Drawing on her studies in Modern Languages and International Studies, and in Psychology, as well as her training in creative writing and translation, she brings a sensitivity to language and a thoughtful curiosity about the complexities of human experience to her work.
